Archetypal Therapy

It was the late Carl Jung who invented the term archetype to refer to universal themes, patterns, or images stored in the collective unconscious of the psyche, or in spiritual terminology, in the universal mind of the human being. These archetypes exist within all human beings (the macrocosm is within the microcosm), at the level of the causal plane, or causal mind, and some are active in us and some are not. Mythology is universal and is rich with archetypes.

Archetypes are the patterns that basically influence our behaviour and determine our life patterns. There are many different ones, such as goddesses, gods and others, which we explore in therapies.
